Problem: Researcher Ying Choon Wu had a simple blog to post updates on her research. However upon entering a joint-lab collaboration, she realized that she needed a rework of the website to display her work to other researchers better.

Solution: Cang and I, two of her assistants, set up her new Wordpress website in four months, which now organized her projects, team members, and publications. To ensure that it would easy to maintain, we developed components and tutorial videos in order to make it easy for her to add future projects.

Outcome: Although the website was finished after the start of the joint-lab grant, Ying was able to find a group and very appreciative the website could be used in future endeavors. This was my first project where many of the basic components were built, allowing me to focus on the experience. It was also my first time in a two-person team, which shocked me how much effort and agreement was required from the both of us to finish the project.
